Well, regardless to say, 2017 has been the year of technical advancements whether it comes to the smartphones or to the other devices. In the first half of 2017, fans got the best ever smartphone from the Korean smartphone Giant – Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8 Plus and now, in the remaining half of the year, people are expecting another competitive smartphone from the biggest platform – Apple’s iPhone 8.
Why Apple iPhone 8 Might Disappoint You?
However, the upcoming phone from Apple has got a delay in its launch and with this delay in the launch, there are large expectations by the Apple freaks from all across the globe that are eager to see what changes will be there in their most awaited flagship.
As a matter of fact, every year, with the announcement of the new flagship from a brand, new improvements, and some new features are expected by the fans to the new flagship so that they can ditch their older phone for the new features. And we all know that iPhone 7 and 7 Plus was a big hit for the Apple and even its users are not willing to ditch it for any other new phone till now.
What Will Not Change on iPhone 8?
Tough, loads of rumors are already buzzing around regarding the seamless features of iPhone 8 that it will come with the vertical dual camera setup, wireless charging system, an improved processor, and much more. Not only this the phone is expected to come with the advanced biometric features and infrared image sensors in order to improve the functioning of the camera. However, that does not seem to be enough for the technology enthusiasts. And it is rumored that iPhone 8 will be a disappointment. Probably the reason behind this fact is the features that Apple Inc. is not changing in iPhone 8.
The thing that can make iPhone 8 a big disappointment would be its RAM & Fingerprint Sensor. With the advancement in technology, people are expecting the higher RAM for the next level performance, but in iPhone 8, the RAM will remain at 3GB, just similar to iPhone 7 Plus. Moreover, with that, the price of the upcoming iPhone 8 is going to start over the $1000 mark. And there will be no fingerprint sensor / touch id recognition present in iPhone 8, as it will get replaced with Biometric Eye & Facial Recognition system on iPhone 8.
That is the reason Deutsche Bank suggested: “Generally when prices go up, demand goes down”. “A scenario where prices go up and demand goes up seems highly unlikely in our view.” Moreover, the analyst added, “Apple will be largely reliant on current users upgrading their old handsets, but believes this won’t be enough to beat iPhone 6 sales.” According to his note, iPhone 6 was an exception because “everything went right” at the time, and Apple’s advantages won’t be repeated.
However, on the other hand, the analysts, who supports the idea of iPhone 8 claims that there are plenty of iPhone users and its fans who have not upgraded their phones in years and with the launch of iPhone 8, the chances are that they will do the same, making an increase in the sales of iPhone 8.
Well, this being said, we will have to wait for what comes with the iPhone 8. What do you think about iPhone 8 and this analysis? Share your thoughts with us in the comments section below!
